Exploring Artificial Intelligence in Livestock at the National Center for Genetic Improvement

Tehran, November 30, 1403: At the invitation of the National Center for Genetic Improvement, a group of leading companies in the fields of information technology and livestock gathered at the center to envision a smart and prosperous future for Iran’s livestock industry. This conference, titled “Smart Farming,” provided an opportunity to showcase the latest technological advancements in the field of livestock automation.

 

The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Protein Supply

Engineer Kazemi, the keynote speaker, emphasized the vital role of protein in the country’s food basket and stressed the need to utilize modern technologies and artificial intelligence in the livestock industry. He added: “Artificial intelligence not only contributes to increasing productivity but also improves product quality and reduces production costs.”

  •  Dr. Sharif: Who emphasized the high capacity of private companies to play an active role in livestock technology and support the National Center for Genetic Improvement in this field.
  • Dr. Bani Saadat: Who presented a historical overview of artificial intelligence and its applications in livestock.
  • Engineer Vakili: Who spoke in the first part of his speech about the importance of data in artificial intelligence and the role of software and products provided by the Management Company in this regard, and in the second part discussed data aggregation and comparison between livestock farms and introduced the Frankar software.
  • Dr. Brazandeh: Who discussed the use of animals as a source of data and products that can collect this data.
  • Engineer Tohidi: Who discussed the impact of proper feeding and related products.
  • Engineer Kamilizadeh: Who defined the environment as a source of data and introduced products that can collect data from the farm environment.

 

Introducing Innovative Solutions for Smart Farming

During the conference, participating companies introduced innovative solutions for livestock automation. Some of these solutions include:

  • Advanced Software: The Management Analyst Sepadan Company introduced a set of advanced software, which provides a novel way to collect and analyze livestock farm data. These software help farmers make better decisions by comparing different data.
  • Smart Sensors: Some companies introduced sensors capable of collecting various data from animals and their surrounding environment. This data can be used to monitor animal health, control temperature and humidity, and manage feeding.
  • Automated Systems: Companies also introduced automated systems for feeding, milking, and climate management. These systems help reduce labor and increase the accuracy of farm operations.

One of the key points emphasized in this conference is the crucial role of data in making smart decisions in livestock farming.
