Actual Cost Software

Modiran Actual Cost Software is the only actual cost software of animal products that fully coincides with the agriculture standard 26 and can display the weak points and problems of the herd accurately in addition to the calculation of the actual cost at high speed. Also, it performs the calculation of production assets, depreciation, materials (including work, materials and overhead costs) and dozens of other items automatically.

Modiran Actual Cost Software converts the performance of the production sector to the Rial, and expresses the Rial load of the performance of an animal husbandry during a specified period with numbers and figures. In fact, the Actual Cost Software has made it possible for users to make managerial decisions by calculating the cost of all livestock products according to the operations recorded in the production sector and the costs incurred during the period.

The process of setting up and using the system begins with the livestock deployment at the initial price. It should be noted that the deployment operation is performed only once, and then the user calculates the period costs in each arbitrary period (e.g., monthly, Seasonal, six months or yearly).

The parts of this system are as follows:

    • Operations
    • Supporting and retrieving information:
In order to calculate the new financial period, it is necessary to transfer the operations recorded in the Modiran program to the livestock Actual Cost Software. For this purpose, it is necessary to restore the support of the animal husbandry program in the field of support and retrieval of the actual cost of the animal husbandry. In this section, there is also the possibility of backing up and retrieving the Modiran Actual Cost Software and herd’s composition.

  • Periods:
In this section, the calculation periods of the actual cost are defined. The period can be defined on a weekly, monthly or annual basis. The start date of each period will always be one day after the end of the previous period. The important point in this section is the impossibility of eliminating the period after finalization of it.

  • Herd’s composition:
In the Herd’s composition section, the livestock condition is estimated using the managers' information during the specified period. In fact, the herd’s composition in the software is the actual cost of animal products to calculate the livestock of the days of the period and provide the user with necessary output for the calculations. For this purpose, after selecting the calculation icon, the herd’s composition is calculated. In the case of mistake and mismatch of the livestock actual cost software and the animal husbandry management software, the livestock is specified and the possibility of examining the incompatible livestock records is visible. It also offers a solution to the problem, so that the user is more likely to fix the problem. In addition, there is also the possibility of exporting the herd’s composition data from the software in Excel format.

  • Input and Output of values:
In this section, the user needs to record the price of the removed livestock, purchased or transported livestock, the fair value, material costs, wage costs and overhead costs of the livestock groups in the period as well as the milk tonnage. In addition to recording price information in the software, there is also the possibility of importing data in Excel format.
In the caseof period cost sharing for material, wage and overhead of the livestock groups based on the number of days livestock has spent in group, by choosing the icon of period cost sharing, it is possible to share the costs based on total period costs or separate period costs according to number of days livestock has spent in group. After selecting the calculation icon, the wage cost, material cost and overhead cost is calculated for each animal group.
After determination of the costs, by using the icon of observing the factors’ values, it is possible to see the costs of each livestock.

  • Calculation of the actual cost:
This section is for transferring the period information and then calculating the actual cost. When transferring period information, the predicted errors in the system are controlled and error message will be displayed on the screen in case of error existence in system.

  • Controlling livestock information:
The information control section of a livestock, as its name implies, provides only the possibility of examining and controlling the condition of a livestock in the three sections of animal husbandry management, herd’s composition, and the actual cost.

  • Results and Reports:
    • Evaluation of changes in managers:
If the user has manipulated the information calculated in the previous period, then the information and changes made in the previous period and current period are visible.

  • Drawbacks of the period:
In this section, the list of drawbacks in the herd’s composition and calculated bugs in the system is visible and can be checked. Double-click on the related row if there are problems, so that all livestock information can be displayed.

  • Number of days livestock has spent in group in the period:
In this section, there is a possibility to study the number of spent days in group for each livestock, the livestock groups, and the summary of the number of days livestock has spent in group in the period, the cost of work, materials and overhead. Inorder to examine the number of spent days in group for a predetermined livestock, there is the possibility of filtration based on the livestock serial number. If the filtering is based on the serial number, all the livestock groups and the duration of being in that group and the costs of one day in that livestock group are visible. Additionally, there is a possibility to filter on a livestock group.
In the summary section of number of days livestock has spent in group in the period, the number of number of spent days by livestock in group and all period costs for livestock groups can be seen. It is also possible to print summary information about the number of days livestock has spent in group in the period and its details.

  • Form values:
All necessary computational controls are visible in this section. This section includes:
    • Form 30, which is actually considered as the main coating of the system, and all items related to the actual cost calculations are visible in it.
    • In Form 31, all costs related to the productive livestock are visible.
    • Form 32 shows the costs of non-productive livestock.
    • The document section is the most important part of this section for controlling the information and ensuring the balance of the cost calculations. If there is no document balance, double-clicking on the document difference section allows you to view the case that caused the difference.
Note: If there is little difference in these sections, it is due to the numbers round off and is not a problem and can be ignored.

If you would like to know, where the number of each material in the form section came from, click on it, and then a page will be opened and the livestock in this section are visible and verifiable in details. By selecting each livestock, livestock period card index will open, and it is possible to view more details about each livestock in it.

  • Livestock period card index:
In this section of the software, all computational items are available and visible for individual livestock. You can also see the statement of the previous periods in this section. Of course, the system will put the statement for the last period by default. In addition, it is possible to search and filter up to 6 steps to view the statement and value of the livestock.

  • Total card index of livestock:
All calculations for individual livestock in different periods are visible in this section. If you need to have a quick search on the livestock, then this is possible in the filter section.

  • Created net economic value:
The created net economic value is, in fact, to examine the condition of raise or drop in animal husbandry during each period. Therefore, for each period (it is possible to calculate it for several periods at once), the net economic value is calculated and it is possible to compare the situation with the previous period.

  • Auxilary tools:
    • Users Management:
If you need to add a user, this is possible in the user management section of the software. There is an option to add, modify, or delete the user.

  • Cost sharing:
Calculation of cost sharing serves as an auxilary tool for helping the user to share costs. In this section, there is a possibility to calculate costs based on consumables, work and overhead. If there are any cost variations for livestock groups, this is possible. It should be noted that in this section, costs are not calculated on the basis of number of days livestock has spent in group.
